Meet Victor! Since arriving into a loving foster home in Illinois from a high kill KY shelter, Victor has made remarkable progress! Victor is a stunning flat-coated Retriever mix, and at 2 years old and 58 lbs, with some room to grow, there is still plenty of puppy in him! A ball of energy, Victor will make a great addition to any family that has time to devote to long walks and playtime. A fenced in yard is preferred for his new home, but if his family is committed to taking him for many long walks daily, he would be happy. Victor is as sweet as can be and loves everyone he meets, people and dogs alike. Victor is house trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands (although he sometimes forgets when he gets too excited - remember he is a young boy still!). Victor LOVES his toys and frequent playtime. He will need to have a family who is home with him for most of the day so that he has the chance for interaction, learning
The adoption fee of $350.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED! Victor is being fostered in Batavia, IL.
