Moppet's Story...
Moppet is one of 6 puppies born to Clover. There are 5 boys and 1 girl. Clover was found with the father of the litter as a stray. The Rescuer had to open her car door and pour dog food in the backseat in order to rescue her. Thankfully she is good motivated which has made a world of difference in getting her to trust humans. She is a collie/hound mix and the father of the litter is an Aussie mix. Clover weighs 35lbs do we believe the litter will be medium sized when fully grown.

Moppet is a good boy who lives to play with toys and his siblings. He plays nicely and is very quiet. He is being fed Royal Canin Medium Breed Puppy food. He has been dewormed three times and is papertrained.

On Mar 20th, Moppet is getting his first set of vaccines, including Bordetella. He will be ready to leave next week.

A fully fenced yard and a Veterinarian reference is mandatory in order to apply.

If you would like Moppet to join your family, please visit our website at barksandmeows.ca for an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moppet, a Duart Australian Shepherd/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Duart, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Duart.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duart already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duart breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duart paves the way for another one to be saved.
