Rubio and Lucas were each found in the City Heights area. They met in foster care and have become hang-out buddies.

Rubio is a very playful guy who would like very much if you bring out the dangly wands and other toys. Once playtime is over, that’s a good time for petting. While Rubio likes to keep his paws under his own control, he’s appreciative of your affection.
Lucas is very loving when cuddled. He purrs easily when held or petted, and he is especially fond of getting a good "kitty massage". Oooh, that’s the spot...
Rubio and Lucas both need time to adjust to new environments and do best when they are in a quiet and calm household with someone willing to bond with them one-on-one. While some patience is needed for them to fully flourish, flourish they will!

Rubio and Lucas would each do best in an adult-only home or with cat-savvy teenagers. They are good friends and would of course be thrilled if they get adopted together, though it is not required. They do well with other cats. They haven’t met dogs.

Rubio and Lucas are sweet little boys who deserve the best after their rough start to life. Will you give one or both of them that security and love? The devotion you will get in return is marvelous!
