Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daisy, Young Female, 30 pounds, Richmond VA
DAISY IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE RICHMOND VA AREA. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN DAISY, PLEASE GO TO WWW.MOMSRESCUEVA.ORG AND COMPLETE AN APPLICATION.
Looking for a mini-shepherd? Well, that’s me! I’m Daisy and they say I am a shepherd/basset mix. I’m only 7 months old so I am not done growing yet, but I won’t be as big as a pure bred shepherd. And personally, I think my floppy ears suit me better than the ones that stand up tall.
True to my shepherd-ness, I am smart and love to use my brain. I already know what to do when someone says ‘sit’, ‘lay down’, or calls my name (I come running!). I am also very sweet and like to give kisses. I get along with kids and other dogs and people in general, although I can be just a bit shy at first.
I’m still really into my chew toys and can be quite silly and playful. I’m having a good time at my foster home but I really can’t wait to find a forever family to call my very own. If you’ve been looking for furry girl like me, go to www.momsrescueva.org and complete an application to see if we could be a match.
