My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sacramento- Dinah is a big girl (about 95 pounds) who LOVES people, belly rubs and treats. She gets along with other dogs but Dinah was homeless for a long time. She not only survived but did it well. She was chubby and well fed (and pregnant) when she came to us. These amazing survival skills are partly because of her height and other part because her amazing nose. What does this mean? She LOV ES food more than anything and she knows how to get it. She is not a dog I would trust loose in the house. I would expect to come home and found she had opened the fridge, ate all the food and left you with nothing but mustard for dinner. She also tries to open doors and take herself on a walk, and knobs are like empty sofa cans in her jaws. So while she is potty trained and AMAZING, she really needs to be crated when you are not with her. This girl came to us in the beginning of December, when she was found living stray in Central CA. She had been out for some time, she had dug a hole and this cave is where she lived. The day she was caught, I brought her home and she promptly began delivering 10 babies. Now that the babies are almost ready to be adopted, she is as well. She will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and ready to go by the second week in February.

If you are interested in this happy and beautiful girl, you can find our adoption process and apply online for her at: http://recycledpetsnorcal.org/adoption-process/
