Important Note

Tabatha is best friends with Sippi. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
DOB April 2016.

Tabatha is a sweet bucket of love. She was rescued at three months with her Mom and her siblings back in May 2016. She still has a lot of kitten in her, but has been finding her way into adulthood. She absolutely loves anything technical. She loves to cuddle up next to a laptop and watch the arrow move around, she loves a good episode of 'Nature of Things' and the TV, but she knows her boundaries and is more a viewer than a 'I'm jumping at the TV kinda cat.' She's very sweet, loves to just be around and is amazing company. She's quiet, but loves to talk, if you talk to her. She has a baby that she likes to carry around with her, a little toy and bring to bed. She's a great litter box user, has been vetted since she was a baby and is happy and healthy. She must be adopted with her Mom (Sippi: DSH, 2 year old domesticated cat), as they are a bonded pair and a fun match. She is used to a quiet environment with lots of love. Her current owner shares: "I would love to keep them (her), but they deserve a home of their own and I have my own rescue cats, as well as I travel often for work".

Tabatha is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. If you need more info or would like to adopt please contact Meagan directly at fishermegs@yahoo.ca. Thank you!

About Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email adopt@torontocatrescue.ca.

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $100 per cat vs. $175 per cat.
