Michael is a male apricot Poodle approximately 3 years old. He weighs a stocky, sturdy 16 pounds full grown. He has a gorgeous, soft apricot colored coat of non-shedding curls. Its hard to see from the pictures, but his coat coloring is beautiful. Michael has been professionally groomed and currently has a very short haircut. His coat will grow out thick, curly and longer in no time. Michael is a perky, happy, even tempered little guy. He loves people most of all and will be your trusty companion. He wants to be where you are, although he is not overwhelming, he simply wants to be with people. Michael knows how to simply hang out inside the house, keeping his humans company. Outside on walks or in the backyard, Michael will poke around contentedly investigating this and that in a calm manner. He has a good amount of energy for longer walks or trips to the park, but he is not super high energy. He has nice manners in public and trots out eagerly on leash. Michael does not need another dog in the household to feel secure and seems to want the attention of people most of all. He gets along fine with other dogs, but he isn't super playful or needy with other dogs. He is good with children and can adapt to new situations or welcome company. Michael was rescued from a high-volume shelter where he was brought in stray after being hit by a car. The poor boy had a large road burn on the side of his face and had bitten his tongue. Although he was quite shaken up, thankfully he did not suffer any major injuries. Michael was thoroughly vet checked including a full body x-ray and then released to our rescue organization. We are hoping to find him a safe, secure, forever home where he can be loved, cherished and pampered. He would love to have an owner that cares for him properly and keeps him safe. He is such an affectionate dog and will make your heart melt. Michael is ready for his new forever family today!
Michael’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACINNATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
