My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Champ, the best friend a human could have! He is 2 years old and 60lbs and full of love! You're looking at the sweetest smiling face you will ever meet. Although Champ was attacked by another dog in January, he is quickly on the mend and is looking for his forever home.  Even with the frightening incident with another dog, he has shown nothing but love to people as well as other dogs he has encountered. Gentle, kind, sweet, and loving, this boy's heart is limitless.

If you're looking for a dog who is ready to be your companion and snuggle buddy, then stop looking! Champ is your man! This handsome big boy knows how to "sit" for treats and will go into his crate with no issue. He even loves riding in the car to run on short errands with you too!  His favorite drive through is Starbucks- because they give him head scratches and a pupiccino!! I see hipster potential in this one! Maybe artisan pickles will be next!

He is house trained and crate trained. He thoroughly enjoys de-stuffing every toy and thrilled to have a new chew toy.  If you're in the mood to snuggle (or not!) Champ will be more than happy to jump into bed with you.  You will need to drag him out of bed in the morning.

Champ came to our attention because he was a volunteer and staff favorite at the shelter. They could not bare to see him put down because of how special he is! So they contacted us; and, we quickly said SAVE HIM!
