Toby is a 7mo male blue heeler mix who was surrendered by his owner in rural Arkansas who couldn't keep him. Toby's mother was a purebred blue heeler (daddy dog was unknown) and clues to Toby's strong blue heeler heritage include dappled markings chest and feet, body shape, natural bobtail and athletic nature. Toby lives in the house with his foster family where he's lovingly cared for while awaiting his forever home.  Happy, playful, well-socialized young dog! Growing up around kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 6 years and older. Crate trained and housebroken. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Toby suffered a broken back leg in February prior to coming into rescue, but the leg was repaired by our vet and now it's like nothing ever happened (as you can see in his video!). DOB is 11-7-16. Weighs about 35 pounds, healthy, altered and utd on shots. This is an awesome young dog who will make a great companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family who loves the breed!

About Good Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Good Dog Rescue is an all-breed rescue group headquartered in the South. Our group is comprised of volunteers all over the Southeast who love dogs and want to help those that end up homeless through no fault of their own. Loyal and loving dogs turn up every day in Southern shelters, as owners turn them in or they’re found roaming the streets after being dumped. To the best of our abilities, we evaluate all of our Good Dogs’ temperament and suitability for living with other dogs, cats, and children. A dog’s health is checked, and we make sure they are up-to-date on all shots and are spayed or neutered. Then, we place them in loving foster homes until they find their very own family. Our goal is to meet the needs of each dog as an individual and to assure proper placement in a loving forever home.
