From the Foster:
Willy Wonka is looking for his forever Chocolate Factory – do you think you could be sweet on him? He’s a smart fella, eager to learn tricks and rules, especially if you use hand signals (and reward with yummy treats).
Being a playful chap, WW is always game for chasing critters outside or conquering plush “critters” inside. He loves a good tug of war, and the joy of tearing apart his stuffed animal prey. A good bone to chew is a high point as well. As for other dogs, he usually shows a polite disinterest, but is always up for a game of chase!
Willy Wonka does have a tendency to get excited and sometimes jump up, but he is working hard at mastering this urge. He has learned that the rules he is learning often work in his favor: wandering too far when casing critters outside means an easy recall to love and affection! He’s pretty good when left out alone, as long as his humans o their job and don’t leave yummy food or tantalizing garbage cans out!
His energy level is pretty even: play time is great and all, but a good couch cuddle is hard to beat. When laying around at home, he wants to be as close as possible, laying on top of you if you let him. He also loves to burrow under blankets. He prefers to sleep in bed with you if you let him, otherwise he sleeps on a couch.
