Did you know the name Edwin means rich in friendship? I am Edwin and when you adopt me I will give you a lifetime of friendship! I am around 2 years old and just the bee knees! I enjoy playing outside and with other dogs. According to the humankind I am very cute and sweet. When I came into the rescue I tested positive for those pesky heartworms…but no fear! First, CPR with be hosting an open house at the adoption center on Friday, April 14th located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd Southbury, CT from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at PetSmart in Meriden, CT on Saturday, April 15th from 10am-2pm. There is no event on Sunday April 16th! PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested positve for heartworms and is being treated in our care. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
