Elizabeth's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Elizabeth's Story...
Elizabeth is currently living in a foster home in Delevan, Wisconsin.

My name is Elizabeth and I was surrended to the rescue with my long time companion. My people moved and did not want to take me with them. I had to get a haircut since I had not been groomed for a long time. I am quiet, friendly and not any trouble at all. Everyone thinks I am a mix of Schnauzer and Dachsund. Mostly I want to come and sit on your lap. Getting along with others is no problem and I have not bothered the cats out here. If you are looking for a sweet older companion please consider me. I have had all my shots and my teeth cleaned.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin.

Adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elizabeth, a Fort Atkinson Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
