Hey, girl, hey!!!! I’m Fiona; or you can just call me Fi. Don't let my grumpy underbite fool you, I'm a super happy girl! My foster mom says I’m an absolute doll, but I’m really just being myself. I love my humans, and I am happiest curled up in a lap or cuddled up beside them. I live with a foster sister dog named Samson who is quite smitten with me. We play until we are tired out, take a nap, and then do it again. I also have a foster cat sister, and we get along really well, too. Who knew cats were cool? I was super skinny when I was first rescued, but my foster mom and dad have been helping to fatten me up, and everyone seems impressed with how much better I look even after only two weeks. My life is already so much better than it has ever been, and I have sooooo much love to give. Are you ready for a life full smooches and cuddles? Cause I know I am!
All of our pets start their journey in Memphis Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted.
In order to qualify for ALIVE’s program all of the following steps must be met: • You must be at least 24 years of age and be able to provide ALIVE with proof of age. • Any current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, and be spayed/neutered. Exceptions to this will only be considered if proof of a medical explanation is provided. • If you currently rent, you must provide a landlord’s phone number and a copy of your executed lease. • All members of the family living in the home where the animal will be placed must be interviewed. • Allow an ALIVE Rescue Memphis representative into your home for a visit to insure that your home is safe for the potential new dog or cat. • Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper care for a pet. • Currently, the requested donation to adopt a dog over 4 months of age is $450.00. The $450.00 adoption fee includes transport to the Chicago area.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you submit an application immediately to start the adoption process. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, ALIVE Rescue Memphis is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.
