Peyton's Story...
Meet Peyton
Available for Adoption in New England or the Midwest

If you are looking for an easygoing girl, Peyton may be just the dog you are looking for. She is about three years old and weighs about 60 pounds. Peyton is a laid back, mellow dog but she absolutely loves to go on walks. After a long walk she will be pretty happy to come back inside and spend some time with her people. Peyton would do well with an active family and is good with kids. She also gets along great with both large and small dogs, not sure about cats.

Peyton is house trained, crate trained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, micro chipped and on heartworm/flea preventative. If you are interested in learning more about this wonderful girl, go to www.luckylabrescue.com and indicate your interest in her in the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peyton, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
