Queenie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Queenie's Story...
Queenie is a gorgeous 13 year old Chocolate Lab who has so much love to give. She weighs around 55 pounds, and she is fully housetrained. She will follow you around all day and nudge your arm for a pat on the head. She is good with children and other dogs. Queenie loves car rides and likes to lounge around all day. This laid back sweetie needs a loving home where she can spend the remainder of her days feeling loved with her forever family. Queenie is on Remadyl each day so whoever adopts her will need to continue with that. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for heart worms, and current on trifexis. Email info@FORrescue.net to talk to Queenie's foster mom.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Queenie, a Huntsville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
