Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Pete! Pete was brought to us from a rural shelter in Kentucky. He and eight other dogs were signed over to the shelter from a hoarding situation. A photo was provided to us later showing Pete and another dog sleeping on the dashboard of a camper. We are guessing that camper was "home" to the nine dogs. Pete is about 1.5-2 years old. He is very sweet and snuggly. He loves attention and affection. He doesn't seem to understand what toys are or what to do with them but he is playful and likes to wrestle with one of his foster brothers. He came to us very thin but we are working to fatten him up! He is quiet as can be in his crate at night and he is in his crate each day when his foster parents are at work. He has no issues being crated!
He has been around kids as young as five and he has been great with them. He took about four to five days to come out of his shell with his foster family, so his furever family will need a little patience to help him adjust again. He lives with two fur brothers and we think he would be great living with other dogs, or as an only child. We are working on him learning how to tell us when he needs to go out to potty but we have had zero accidents in the house. We are not sure of his breed but he's definitely a spotty pup.
