Baboo's Story...
Baboo - Female - Pug Mix - 1.5 yrs - www.twyla.org

Baboo is a female Puggle, 23 lbs., approx. 1.5 years old, reddish brown with black snout (with a cute underbite) and white on her chest. Baboo is house and crate trained. She is high energy and loves to run and jump. She can jump 4 feet straight up and down, like a bouncing ball. She is affectionate and enjoys sitting on your lap. Baboo does well with kids and dogs, but is not good with cats and other small animals. She can be an escape artist and needs a home/family that works well to prevent her from getting out of the yard when playing outside. Baboo is heartworm positive and being treated with the slow-kill method and has no exercise restrictions. She would do well with another dog mate or by herself.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baboo, a Kingwood Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
