My name is Buster and I'm almost 10 years old. My owner passed away and since then I have been taken care of by her Niece as long as she could and now I'm in a great foster home being well cared for just as I was the first 10 years of my life. I am now looking for a forever home and would choose to be in a home with other dogs and cats who like tummy rubs and beggin' strips and going bye-bye as much as I do. I grew up in a 3 dog household so I'm well versed in socialization. I enjoy going for daily walks and sniffing out the neighborhood. Other dogs bark at me and get excited but I don't bark back because I'm a cool dude and very secure in my Boston Terrier coat. I get along with cats and dogs; even babies! I just like to come sniff them initially to see who and what they are. You can leave me in my bed all night long and I will not have an accident in your house. If I have to go potty I will usually stare at you and then go to the door to let you know I need to go. AT FIRST I'm a little unsure of my surroundings but within a week with love and patience I will be your snuggle buddy. The ONLY STINKY thing about me is that I pass gas from time to time lol. Don't let my age fool you because I have a lot of life left in me. You're getting the whole package with me. I'm really the perfect Gentleman of a dog. If you're looking for a loyal companion who is mild mannered and agreeable in most every way then I'm your Guy.

Buster's adoption fee is $175.All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Our adoption process begins by filling out an application at our website http://pawpatroldayton.com/adoptable-dogs/. Your application will be reviewed. Then your vet and personal references will be contacted. Approved applicants will be contacted for a meet-n-greet in the order applications are received. Then there is a home visit and then the adoption. The amount of time the adoption process takes varies. We are an all volunteer rescue. Please understand we are all doing our rescue work outside of our jobs, families, and other commitments. It takes time to contact references, to schedule meet-n-greets, home checks & adoptions that work with your schedule, as well as, ours. Please be patient with us during this process. We always want to place our dogs in a good home as quickly as we can.

About Paw Patrol

About Our Rescue Group...

Paw Patrol is a dedicated group of volunteers working to improve the quality of life for dogs living in our community.

Our Mission is:
To improve the lives of dogs living in Dayton, Ohio and the surrounding municipalities (with special emphasis on helping outdoor dogs).
To provide shelter in the form of an adequate doghouse to outdoor dogs in an effort to keep them warm and dry.
To promote the importance of spaying/neutering dogs and to offer this service at a free or subsidized cost to dog owners.
To provide information to the public about the negative aspects of dog tethering.
To assist owners with necessary resources to allow them to keep their dog happy, healthy, and out of the already over-crowded shelter system.
To provide outdoor dogs with either a trolley run or a fence built by volunteers in order to improve their quality of life and remove any form of tethering.

Our Adoption Process...

Our Adoption Fees cover spay/neuter for our dogs, vaccinations, heart worm testing/medication, microchipping and any vet care the dog is needing. Once you fill out an application on our adoptables tab on our website, http://pawpatroldayton.com/rescues/, a representative will conduct a reference check with your vet provided. A call to the potential adopter will be made when the representative is done verifying the information on the contract.
