Social, Chatty, Playful June Bug is a young mom who gave birth to her kittens while in her foster home. And right from the get-go we knew that she was a 'people cat', because she insisted on alerting her foster mom that she was ready to give birth - June Bug wanted to share the experience with her! Her kittens have moved on to find homes of their own, and now June Bug is reclaiming her own kittenhood! She was a wonderful mom but didn't have enough time to be a kitten, so she is making up for lost time. She will hide in the laundry basket - or find a paper bag - and wait to pounce on you as you walk by! Sometimes, she just races through the house because she is full of energy and good cheer. Even when she isn't playing, June Bug is on the move, walking around the house, sniffing things, checking out corners, looking out windows; she is engaged in everything around her! She will 'help' you while you type on the computer by walking across the keyboard, adding her 2 cents. She is happy when you pick her up and hold her; she is happy just to be near you, whatever you are doing! June Bug can use her claws when she plays or does a sneak attack, so she isn't the playmate for a young child. She will likely grow out of this, but she would do best with cat-experienced people who can gently redirect her when she does this. Otherwise, she is always super fun to play with! June Bug was wary of the resident dog at first, but now she is friendly to him and will even touch his nose with hers! We haven't seen her around other cats. June Bug is a sweet and pretty people-loving tabby with mysterious eyes. She will chat you up and likes to be involved with what you are doing. We think that she will grow into the perfect kitty companion; she just needs some time to play and have fun! Her ideal home would be with adults and older children - and people who will let her sleep with them! Because she is all about you. And playing.
