Hello People!
My name is Terrifically Talented Teddy - and my Aunties say I'm a ‘meeter and a greeter. I’m also a very handsome, happy and sweet Bichon boy who has all of the best bichon traits Mom has ever seen. I’m seven years young, a svelte 15 pounds of playfulness and love: a well trained little guy who is a great communicator and an amazing companion. When I’m with you, you will never lack for someone to talk with (more on that later) and I’m also eager to please! Everyone who meets me says I’m a cheerful pup who loves people (big ones and small ones) and I greet everyone with a big smile, a wagging tail and lots of love.
One of my favorite things to do is play this game called 'Fetch'. I do a pretty darn good job of running after my toy – and Mom does a pretty darn good job of bringing it back. She says I get this mischievous little look on my face, smile and tease her – then she gets the toy and throws it again. (Mom says that shows how smart I am too!)
Another thing I love to do is go out and walk around town (Walks are the best!) But that’s not all, I think the happiest I can possibly be is when it’s time to go for a ride. I love the wind in my face and getting to see so new people, things and places. I look over to Mom and say ‘Thank you!’ and she just smiles and says I’m her best companion ever! To add to my resume, I come when I’m called (now that’s nothing short of a miracle with most bichons!), am housebroken (no typo there my friends!), playful and incredibly cute!
My ‘life story’ started out pretty well. You see I once had a Mom who loved me, walked with me and took me for rides. Then she got sick. No one was able to do those things with me but I hung in there and just loved her as much as I could! And then I lost her. It was the saddest day of my life. Mom’s daughters have these creatures called ‘cats’ and they don’t like any kind of dog (and I’m one of the best.) So the daughters had to find a place where I could go and be the bestest bichon in the world. (That was the easy and best part!)
Now I’m what is known as a FurKid. I have a great foster Mom who gives amazing belly rubs (I’m always available for them), a doggy foster brother and sister to play and snuggle with (I also get to run and play with them) and I’m not sad any more.
Mom swears I am the absolutely sweetest little guy she has ever, ever fostered – and that says a LOT! I'm a loyal companion who is gentle and affectionate – and a little goofy and happy. Now about the talking part: well I have this way of cocking my head when I’m listening to you and I’m also very happy to start a conversation. Mom says I come up to her and start ‘talking’ (Well she’s sure that’s what I’m doing and she’s learning my ‘vocabulary.’ I must be pretty good at teaching too because I have a way of getting what I want or need. (I’m not bragging – that’s what Mom says!)
I love other dogs and love my people! What I'm looking for is a companion who likes to go for walks and rides, wants to cuddle and play – and who can give great belly rubs! I need to have a home with another FurKid who likes having a companion – and, of course, with people that I can entertain, love and adore. Does that sound like you?
