Max's Story...
MAXIMILLION is definitely one in a million! MAX is the most handsome and goofy guy around. He is a pointer/lab mix- 36 pounds and 4-5 months old—he is a big love bug who ADORES and I mean ADORRRRRRRRRES the kids in his foster home. It’s possible he believes he’s just a furry human. MAX is hilarious-and loves everyone he meets. He does like playing with other dogs but would also be a great only pooch because he does truly love his humans soooo much. MAX will be a big beautiful boy when he’s all grown up and is sure to make you laugh and smile every single day. MAX is neutered and up to date with age appropriate vaccines. His adoption fee is $450. We require a fully fenced in yard not invisible. To apply for MAX please go to gimmeshelteranimalrescue.org to apply.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Sagaponack Great Dane/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Pointer for sale in Sagaponack, or seeking a Great Dane/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Sagaponack.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sagaponack already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sagaponack breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Pointer breeders who help with Great Dane/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sagaponack paves the way for another one to be saved.
