Chef is a loving playful boy who loves his tummy rubbed and loves to play with toys Chef is a wonderful pup who loves to be around humans and also enjoys playing with dogs, but not too rough. He would suit a home with one other dog or just by himself where he can get all the attention.

Chef’s Rescue Story.

Chef was found in a cardboard box at a car dealership. No one knows where he came from or if there were any siblings. He was terrified and lonely. The owners of the car dealership knew he couldn’t stay there as there are many cars coming in and out and drivers wouldn’t be careful enough to avoid a little puppy. A rescuer and foster mom was contacted about taking little Chef in and as she felt so sorry for him all alone she agreed. Chef was extremely afraid of people when he arrived and would cry out every time someone tried to touch him. It seems even in his young life he had had some terrible experience which caused him to be so afraid. However, after arriving at the foster home where there are other pups and bigger dogs, Chef learnt not to be afraid of humans or dogs and started to look for attention. He soon realized he could play happily and wouldn’t be hurt. Chef sometimes has a little relapse if he thinks he’s going to be hurt and will cry out, but with a gentle hand he soon realizes all is ok and will play and run around. He loves to be petted and wants nothing more than to hang out with a human. He is learning to walk on the leash and is doing very well with house training. Chef is fully vaccinated, chipped and neutered and is ready for that special home where he can be loved for all time.
