Meet Lenny, he is about 11 years old. We rescued Lenny from a high kill shelter down south. He immediately became part of our family. Lenny had grown up with our 2 boys 12-14 years old.. he is very loyal, loving and quite protective of his family. He loves to sit near you and be pet. He can still give chase to a squirrel or critter, but will tire eas ily. Lenny has had trouble getting up steps lately in his older age.
Lenny spends his day resting and lounging with whoever is available.
We had to move and no pets are allowed. This has been a very hard decision since Lenny is basically the best dog ever. He has lived w our other dog Lulu for most of his life as well. They have since been separated but doing ok on their own. We only found one home with a family member for Lulu.
Lenny would do better with a family of older children since he is used to teenagers and not being pulled or poked by small children. He wakes you up in the morning and stays downstairs till the last family member gets home and goes to bed. His love is beyond amazing with a heart so big. He is used to sleeping in beds w his humans and furniture.
Lenny has always had a fenced in yard with a doggie door to come and go as he pleases.
We are hoping we can find Lenny a home ... he has so much love to give and peace to a family to know they are safe.
Thank you for taking the time to meet Lenny
