Cessie's Story...
Cessie is a 3 year old spayed female Shepherd mix. Cessie is a wonderful dog who needs a family that will give her plenty of exercise. Cessie would do best in a home with children that are a bit older so she doesn't knock down the little ones. She is very energetic and loves to play. Cessie has completed a three week obedience program and is very smart. Cessie is looking for a home that has a fenced in yard and will continue her training. If you are interested in meeting Cessie please call us at 860-666-4646 to schedule an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cessie, a Newington German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Newington, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Newington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newington paves the way for another one to be saved.
