Mozart is extra-friendly with humans. He'll come up to seek attention, rub against your leg, and offer his belly for a rub. He is, however, uncomfortable around other cats. He enjoys walks on a harness and stroller rides. He's very smart, and has been clicker trained to give high-fives. Born in 2006, Mozart came to Best Friends when his New Jersey sanctuary closed its doors. He is FIV positive (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), and didn't feel well when he first arrived at Best Friends, but he's doing much better now. Mozart is an easygoing cat who would love to live in a low-stress environment. He just wants a quiet home where he can love you and be loved.
Mozart is part of our Single Pets* program! That means that he is eligible for a free flight home and waived adoption fee!
*Single pets do best as the only dog or cat in the home.
