America was left on a doorstep in a cat carrier.
When he first arrived at Best Friends he was very standoffish, but now he is much friendlier and will come up to you if you have treats. He is also great with other cats. He loves to play and is always willing to show a new cat the ropes.
Born in 2009, America can't wait to find a place where he can belong, and never be abandoned again.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
