Roy's official name is Royal Celt, but he answers just fine to Roy. This big, sorrel gelding was born in the state of New York in 1992. Unfortunately his person passed, so caring friends helped him find his way to Horse Haven.
A very friendly fellow, Roy gets along well with pasture mates and people. In fact, he adores being groomed so much that he'll close his eyes and almost fall asleep! But don't think that he's always a laid-back kind of a guy. He's got lots of get up and go and can put on quite a show when the spirit moves him.
Roy has special hoof concerns and needs the attention of a Natural Balance farrier. Unfortunately, Roy's back and knees also aren't what they once were, so he'll always be a pasture pal. His teeth require regular attention.
Roy is primarily a Right-brain Extrovert. Please click on the following link to find out more about Horsenality traits.
This red gelding is a handsome horse who needs a home that only a loving, forever family can provide. Could Roy be your horses' pasture pal?
