My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Pandora" is a beautiful 3-year old female Tuxedo kitty who arrived at the HSOV on March 14, 2017 after she was found in the Marietta Ohio area "Pandora" was accompanied by two younger kitties (Penelope and Apollo) who could possibly her her older kittens.

And (sigh) both "Pandora" and "Penelope" are both pregnant and will soon be giving birth to more baby kittens....

"Pandora" has a sleek black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, white socks on her paws, a long tail, and a very pretty face with large golden eyes. This little mother-to-be has one of the sweetest, most lovable personalities.

"Pandora" weighs 9.6 lbs. She was given vaccinations and Revolution flea treatment on March 14, 2017. "Pandora" is available for foster/rescue only at the present time.

Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters.

"Pandora" has been combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.

UPDATE: "Pandora" gave birth to two kittens on March 22, 2017. Sadly, neither of those babies survived :( "Pandora" has an incredible story which took place after she lost her kittens. Five tiny kittens were brought to the shelter on March 24th without a mother. When they were placed with Pandora, she began to clean/nurse them as though they were her own. Later that afternoon, a mother cat was brought to the shelter in a trap and staff was told she was the mother to the five 'orphaned' kittens. So Pandora and the new momma (Whitney) began raising the kittens together...

But the story didn't end there .. "Pandora" gave birth to two more kittens on Sunday March 26th and they are surviving <3
