Dahlia has the ability to melt your heart with a single glance. She was born in 2004 and had a home for the first 10 years of her life until her beloved person passed away. Coming to the Sanctuary has been a big change for her. It can take her a few minutes to warm up to a new face, but she acclimates quickly. Once she's decided you're OK, she's very affectionate. She likes to be held and sit on laps, and will give you head butts. She seems to be overwhelmed with the number of cats here at the Sanctuary, but we're sure she'd do fine in a home with fewer cats. She would love to have her own person again and is sure to greet you at the door to her new home.
