Annie Sue has had to overcome a lot of obstacles. She was trying to care for seven puppies all by herself on the streets of New Mexico. Luckily, the family was rescued, and Annie Sue is now making adult doggy friends at the Sanctuary. She's still quite wary of people; however, it only takes a short amount of time for her wonderful personality to shine through. Then she'll wag her tail, and relax as you pet her. She's becoming braver each day, and recently learned how to walk on a leash. Because she's still so fearful, Annie would do best in a home with a confident dog to show her the ropes, a patient person, and a secure enclosure. If you have what it takes to make this special girl feel safe, she'll reward you with all the love in her heart.
Annie Sue has a generous sponsor who has offered to cover some of the fees for Annie Sue's adoption.
