Saruman is a wonderful, laid-back, strutting-his-stuff Leghorn rooster who was abandoned. He has a delightful crow and his big personality will fit right in with your flock at home! Chickens are very social and interactive, and Saruman would be happiest with animal friends, whether it be other chickens, ducks, or even a friendly dog or cat (but preferably not another rooster, unless you have plenty of space). He will need protection from predators and weather extremes. Check your local ordinances to make sure you can legally have a rooster in your area. No sanctuary visit necessary, however, you must be within driving distance to adopt. If you are interested in Saruman, please fill out an adoption survey.
