Squid's Story...

This little 'sea creature' is hard to resist. Animated, silly and cute, he charms everyone he meets. He loves to play with other dogs and with people. Squid was born in 2014. He is a joy to train and to teach. He's smart, learns quickly and is motivated to do things for toys and treats. He's currently working on his manners because he can be very mouthy. Though Squid is interested in everything you do, he can entertain himself, too. Polite and patient, he is sure to make a wonderful addition to almost any home. If that home happens to have a doggie friend, he'd be thrilled.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Squid, a Kanab Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Kanab, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Kanab.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kanab already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kanab breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kanab paves the way for another one to be saved.
