Mars is very mellow and shy. He was abandoned, and since coming to Best Friends he hangs out with the other shy kitties in the rafters. But he will allow you to pet him once he gets to know you, especially if you talk quietly to him. We estimate that he was born in early 2013, and came to the sanctuary when he was around 2 years old. The one thing we know for sure is that he likes to eat! Mars tests positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but he's young and healthy. He's looking for the person who has the gentle touch and patience that will help him blossom.
