Templeton is a Severe Macaw, a type of bird known for their large personalities. They are typically friendly and comical. When properly socialized, they bond quickly with their person and respond well to training. They have impressive speech abilities and require lots of mental stimulation. In the wild, Severe Macaws might fly several hundred miles in search of food, so in a home setting, they'll need several hours a day outside the cage for exercise. We estimate that Templeton was born in 2005, and he can live 30 years or more.
