Pearl is a young lady of about 2-3 years. She weighs a lean and muscular 55-60lbs. She bonds very strongly to her people and can be protective with strangers. She gets along with most dogs as long as they let her be the boss. But Pearl would just as soon entertain herself so she would be happy in a single dog household. She would probably be OK around older kids but her tendency to be protective could be problematic when kids' friends came to visit. She is a strong dog who respects a strong leader. Pearl has been through obedience classes and is very good at her "sit to ask!" She is crate and house trained and is not an escape artist.
Her guardian side leads her to be a balky when left alone outside when no one is home, so we don't recommend this unless she is in a secure run and has a bark inhibitor collar.
Pearl is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, tested heart worm negative, and microchipped.
