Little Jinxie is an 8 lb Maltese who came to us salvaged from a puppy mill. During her 8 years of life, she has only known a wire cage, litter after litter of puppies with the poorest care and conditions imaginable. Those days are over as she is safe now and looking to begin her new life. Every day brings something she knows nothing about. Her foster family is teaching her to walk on a leash, climb up and down stairs, eat quality food out of a bowl or plate rather than something thrown on the ground, explore the neighborhood park with grass to roll in, sleep in a soft bed, and be held with lots of hugs and the assurance that she is safe and loved. She gets along great with the other pups in the house and would do best in a home with another dog to teach her how to be a dog. She is a little timid but not overly shy and loves to cuddle next to her foster daddy. Jinxie was just spayed and received a full dental. She has all her shots and is microchipped. Jinxie is looking for that tender person willing to be patient and gentle as she learns about life. If this is you, this girl is ready to reward you with lots of snuggles.
