Hi, I'm Tala! I'm a golden lab mix girl looking for love. My foster mom thinks I'm a perfect size at about 35-40lbs. I'm a bit sensitive. Everyone thinks I had a home once and got lost because I was super shell shocked at the shelter. It takes me some time to warm up to people, but I'm treat motivated and once I trust, I'm very loving. I like to sleep in the bed with you, and will get so excited when you come home! I just need to build my confidence up again... they say patience and lotsa love will help that :)I would love a home with another dog who I can learn from and play with because they really help me. I need a patient person and a home with a yard because I feel much more comfortable going outside potty in a yard than on a leash. I am doing well with a doggy door. I'm incredibly smart and would be an easy dog for someone willing to put the time in with lover and patience. I really do just want to please my family. They think I'd do best with gentle kids over 14 right now because I'm just getting used to being out of the shelter and feeling more comfortable. The shelter had me listed as 2yrs old but we think I'm more likely 4-5yrs old.If you are interested in meeting, go to k9ppr.org and fill out an adoption application and they'll set up a meet and greet.

About K9 Paw Print Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned, abused, stray and neglected animals, primarily from high-kill shelters. We collaborate with other rescue groups and animal shelters to improve the lives of animals at risk for euthanisia. We work to provide solutions which seek to end the animal over-population and educate people to be responsible pet owners and "fur-ever guardians."
