Meet Carlos and Allie!
These extra large sweethearts are a bonded father and daughter who need to be adopted together. Carlos is the 2 and a half year old Dad, and Allie is his 1 year old daughter. Due to a tough financial situation, their previous owners had to make the tough but responsible decision to surrender them to the shelter. Both of these cats are absolute sweethearts. Carlos loves being brushed, and will roll over onto his back and close his eyes as you brush his belly. Allie is a purr machine underneath all of her fur. They are very friendly and curious, get along with kids and like to play! They are presently eating special food to help them to get to a more healthy weight. They definitely need a home that will monitor their food intake and make sure they get moving! It's hard to believe that these 2 kitties haven't been scooped up yet; all you have to do is meet them and you fall right in love with them. Do you the space and love for these two large kitties?
They can be met at the adoption center in Petsmart Manchester. The adoption hours there are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6-8 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 1-3 pm.

About Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter

About Our Shelter...

We believe all animals are deserving of life, respect and care. Our goal is zero-population-growth through spay/neuter programs and services that focus on education, medical care, fostering and adoption. Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization which started in 1996. The shelter takes in homeless, abused, and abandoned animals in the city of Manchester. We provide shelter, medical care, and spay/neuter to every animal that comes through our doors. In operation for nearly two decades, the shelter has helped provide care and find loving homes for over 20,000 animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Both dogs and cats and other pets we may have available for adoption can be met at the Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter at 490 Dunbarton Rd in Manchester.

We also rescue southern dogs several times a month. These dogs go into foster homes as they wait to be adopted. Applications can be filled out at the shelter at 490 Dunbarton Rd. Once approved a meeting will be set up.

We also have cats at PetSmart at 777 South Willow Street in Manchester NH. PetSmart Adoption hours are Monday - Friday 6-8 PM (except Wed) and weekends 1-3 PM. In addition we have cats at Petco in Manchester. You can meet them anytime during store hours, just ask for a manager.
