Here's what the humans have to say about me:
How do you know when you're love struck? According to the experts, you may tremble, stammer, feel dizzy, and become weak in the knees. What's that? Dizzy you say? When we met her, our Dizzy earned her name by being a bit of a wild child. Jumping and spinning and leaving us dizzy just trying to keep up with her. Cut to no more than a few hours later after leaving the stress of the high-kill shelter behind and our Dizzy became named because we were love struck. We can't even begin to guess what breeds make up this chocolate scruff since she reminds us more of a character from Alice in Wonderland than a dog. Part March Hare? Part Red Queen? Perhaps a little of both, but more like a German Wirehaired Pointer mix, with a whole lot of curiosity thrown in. Interested in an adventure down the rabbit hole with a great explorer at your side? Dizzy is your girl. Fill the hole with water, mud and snow and add a canine friend who wants to play chase or tug-of-war and Dizzy is right at home. At 6 months, 32lbs. and still growing, our bearded mischief maker loves other dogs, large and small, and might even do well with a feline friend. This active little lady will need an energetic family to keep her happy and fulfilled but don't get us wrong, she will be perfectly happy to cuddle up with you after a busy day. Dizzy is still very much a puppy so while she is catching on quickly to crate training, she will need continued work on perfecting her housebreaking skills and her new family should be ready to help her along! Dizzy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and mircochipped. Ready for an adventure? Fill out an application at omdrescue.org.
