Juneau's Story...
This cutie is Juneau! She is about 2 years old and is a spayed boxer mix. She has a happy-go-lucky attitude as is quite precious! Juneau is very smart - she is mostly house-trained, sleeps quietly in her kennel, knows how to sit, knows drop it, and is a great leash walker! Juneau used to live with children around 7 and older and was friendly and playful towards them. A home with children may be right up her alley - given that the children are respectful around dogs. Juneau would prefer to be the only dog in her forever home. But don't worry - she provides so much extra love and fun! Her favorite activity, aside from hanging out with her family, is playing with tennis balls! She also loves squeaky toys! We can't get enough of her great attitude! Juneau is a phenomenal girl and can't wait to become someone's forever dog. Is she yours?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juneau, a Michigan City Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
