Tilly's Story...
Tilly is a 2 month old (DOB 1/26/17), 7 pound, lab mix (DNA test pending). She loves kids, dogs, cats, and everyone! One of three puppies in the litter, Tilly is the boldest of the litter. Tilly has been in foster since she was five weeks old, and has thrived on love, good food, and lots of exercise. She can use a doggy door, and often got outside to potty, but isn’t quite housebroken yet. We are confident that with some positive reinforcement, she will get the hang out if it in no time! She loves to play with toys, her litter mates, and any other creature that will stick around when ganged up on by three exuberant puppies. She is very affectionate, loves snuggles and kisses, and shows no signs of food aggression. Tilly is not yet spayed. She is not leash trained and is not fully housebroken. Tilly is UTD on shots. Tilly is located in Kiln, MS, but transport to the Northeast can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front, Inc! If you are interested in taking Tilly to your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tilly, a Groton Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Groton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
