I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Mazie is a 2 month old (DOB 1/26/17), 7 pound, lab mix (DNA test pending). She loves kids, dogs, cats, and everyone! One of three puppies in the litter, Mazie is the smartest of the litter. Mazie has been in foster since she was five weeks old, and has thrived on love, good food, and lots of exercise. She can use a doggy door, and often got outside to potty, but isn’t quite housebroken yet. We are confident that with some positive reinforcement, she will get the hang out if it in no time! She loves to play with toys, her litter mates, and any other creature that will stick around when ganged up on by three exuberant puppies. She is very affectionate, loves snuggles and kisses, and shows no signs of food aggression. Mazie is not yet spayed. She is not leash trained and is not fully housebroken. Mazie is UTD on shots. Mazie is located in Kiln, MS, but transport to the Northeast can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front, Inc! If you are interested in taking Mazie to your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.html
ARF started in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and because of the shocking treatment we saw many animals in the Deep South endure and the extremely high kill rates in their shelter systems we have stayed committed to helping animals with a focus in the state of Mississippi. Many of these wonderful animals would be killed in a shelter or abandoned outside if not for our continued efforts.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoptions fees are based on the state you live in. If you are a Massachusetts resident we are required by the Dept. of Agriculture to quarantine your adopted animal for a minimum of 48hrs.. The cost for this quarantine is $50.00 per animal. Our fees are as follow:
Adult dogs 13 months to 5 years - MA resident $475, all others $425.00. Adult dogs +5 years of age - MA resident $375, all others $325.00 Puppies 12 months and younger - MA resident $550, all others $500.00.
If pre-adoption neutering is not medically advised prior to adoption, a refund of $70 will be given to the adopter when proof of neuter is presented to us. This is a strict requirement of our organization and the MA Department of Agriculture/Animal Welfare and no exceptions are allowed without written proof from a licensed veterinarian. Our adoption donation covers the transport to New England and exceptional vetting from our local veterinary teams down south, microchipping and local quarantining in MA. As well we reimburse our southern rescues so they can continue their life saving mission. We do require you to fill out an application and provide a vet reference, and a home inspection may be requested. As well an adoption contract will be emailed to you once the adoption has been approved. Our adoption application can be found here: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/
Thanks for rescuing!
Please note - we will not adopt a puppy to anyone who is not willing and committed to ensuring their new family member never reproduce. Spaying and neutering your pet contributes to efforts to reduce unwanted and homeless animals in the United States and your animal will be healthier. Our adoption fees are nonrefundable after 21 days. If for whatever reason your adoption is not suitable to you or your adoptee we require the animal be surrendered to us.
