My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poki is a snuggly and sweet, approximately eight-year-old, male, white and grey cat with Turkish Van-like markings looking for a loving guardian.

This gentle soul was living in the vestibule of a woman’s apartment building. She was allergic to him, so she never brought him into her home. He just lived in the staircase.

When her neighbors complained, he came to live with me.

He was absolutely filthy, covered in fleas and had ear mites when I took him in. But he is so very gentle and let himself be bathed and handled. He doesn’t seem to mind the other cats in my home and does a low-growl if the dogs annoy him, but his tendency is to hide rather than fight.

Poki deserves a feline-lover able to give him the attention and love that he has missed out on. He has absolutely perfect litter box habits and is a low-key fellow happy to sit on a window sill and chill.

Poki is extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, fecal and virus-tested negative.
