Irish Miss (Spayed)-New Photos's Story...
"Irish Miss" is a beautiful 4-year old female kitty who arrived at the HSOV on March 5, 2017 after she was found in the Marietta Ohio area. This little beauty has a brown tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and a darling face with large emerald green eyes and a tiny heart-shaped mark on her cute pink nose.

"Irish Miss" was enjoying the comfort of her soft plush donut bed when we stopped by to take her photos shortly after her arrival on March 5th, and we didn't have heart to move her that day.:( She has a sweet personality and loves attention.

We were happy to have the opportunity to take updated glamour pictures on this little beauty on March 11, 2017 when "Irish Miss" was chosen as one of our featured kitties to be photographed for a St. Patrick's Day event. She was a charmer and looked ravishing in her green feather boa :)

"Irish Miss" weighs 6.2 lbs. She was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on March 5, 2017.

"Irish Miss" has been spayed and was given rabies vaccine on March 15, 2017.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Irish Miss (Spayed)-New Photos, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
