Joshua's Story...
With Joshua trust has to be earned. Joshua won't immediately be your best friend, unless of course you have a treat to share with him (he absolutely loves treats and boiled chicken). Joshie doesn't have a lot of experience interacting with different people but once he trusts you he will start to relax and you will see what a wonderful cat he is. Joshie loves being petted, sitting in a lap and chasing his favorite toys. He likes to sleep on the bed with people so don’t be surprised if he immediately makes himself at home on the bed when it’s bedtime. Joshie does very well with other cats and having a feline friend might help him adjust to his new home quicker. Joshie is going to do best in a quieter home. All cats and kittens receive 1 free year of our Spa Package

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joshua, a Lincoln Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
