My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Koby (HWTH#17088A). He is an American Bulldog mix, DOB 3-14-14. Koby weighs approximately 98 pounds. He is missing his left eye (we don't know the story). He was dumped in the northern part of L.A. County. A Good Samaritan witnessed the dumping. The poor dog chased his previous owner as he drove away, but Koby had to give up after about 50 yards. Koby likely would have died in the heat because he had no water and he is a big dog with a short muzzle (dogs like that don't do well in hot weather).

The Good Samaritan collected Koby and brought him to Halfway to Home. Koby was neutered on 3/13/17 but is still in quarantine until 3/23/17 so he will be at the Palmdale PetSmart (next door to Trader Joe's) on Saturday 3/25/17 and, if not adopted, on Sunday, 1-5pm both days. We are still assessing his temperament but so far he has been a very sweet dog. He was walked the day after he was neutered and he walked very gently. For more information on Koby, please contact Suzanne at tele # 661-824-4495.
