I’m Aretha, a 2 year old female Dachshund mix. I weigh about 18 lbs fully grown. I mainly lived outside with my sister in my previous owner’s home. They were moving to an apartment so we are hoping to find a better fit. Luckily my sister, Linda was adopted and now it’s my turn! I am a huge sweetheart! I love love love attention and affection. I love to sleep wrapped around my foster moms neck like a warm scarf. I prefer to have owners that will be with me often as I don’t like being lonely. I am sweet, very quiet, and kind. I get along fine with dogs of all sizes. Cats are unknown. I am housebroken, kennel trained and know how to use a dog door. I ride awesome in a car. I sit nicely in the passenger seat and watch out of the window. I will need some leash training as I never really used one before. I would love a family that travels since I love the outdoors and ride so well in a car. I am a very loyal dog. Let’s meet! – Adoption fee is $260. This dog is altered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. The adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance and a free vet visit.
