Ewok's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ewok's Story...
We can't imagine why someone would just abandon their dog, especially one this adorable. Little Ewok has the cutest signature pekignese underbite combined with the personality of a shih tzu. Poor little Ewok had a terrible eye injury which has caused him to lose vision in his one eye. This of course has not slowed him down. Ewok even dances! This little guy is absolutely adorable! ~9 years old, 12 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ewok, a Oakland Shih Tzu/Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Pekingese for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Pekingese dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Pekingese breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
