Quinta is a sweet girl who is very, very shy. You can tell that she hasn't had many positive interactions with people in her life, and she needs someone who is patient enough to spend the time to try to convince her that it's okay to come out of her shell. She is quiet in a crate (as long as she's in a room with other dogs or people), and is completely content just napping on a comfy dog bed all day. During the two weeks I've had her, she's hasn't been brave enough to venture far from the bed or area that makes her feel safe. She is very slowly learning to accept touches/petting, but it takes her some time to feel okay coming up to people. With a little time and patience she will make the perfect companion.
