Peach is a 5 year old Boxer/Pibble mix who found herself in a SC shelter. She is heartworm positive and in the latter stages of the disease. One side of her heart is enlarged as well as her pulmonary artery. She is currently being treated for pneumonia secondary to the heartworm. Peach has begun treatment and will be ready for adoption when it is completed. Reported good with other dogs, but does chase cats, and no history with kids. We will update her progress periodically.
-6/7/17: Peach has had her first heartworm treatment shot and is doing well. She gets her next shots on 6/14 & 6/15. She is tolerating crate rest very well. She is a loveable gal that loves to relax with her people. Very gentle soul.
